After a fetch function completes and the application regains control with a return code of zero, the application can obtain the flavor or type of parcel returned. This is true only if Parcel-mode-fetch was set to Y in the DBCAREA when DBCHCL was called for any of the following functions:

- RunStartUp
- Initiate with Protocol-Function
- Command
- Initiate Request
