Date Form is initialized to the default value provided for Date Form in the site’s CLISPB. If the value is not appropriate for the application, the application, before calling DBCHCL for Connect, change the values as follows:

  1. Set Change-options to 'Y'.
  2. Change the value for Date Form as follows:
    If... Then change the value for Date Form to...
    dates are stored in default format D
    dates are stored in Teradata format T
    dates are stored in ANSI format A
    T may always be specified, but A will be rejected if the server does not support ANSI date format.
    It is recommended that mnemonics be used for the codes. Mnemonics are provided in the language definition file for the DBCAREA.
