If Change Option in the input DBCAREA is N and the function is... Then...
Connect in the SCB that is generated, all option values in the internal defaults are copied to the SCB and none of the option values in the input DBCAREA are copied to the SCB.

The internal defaults are either the initial values as provided by the Teradata Database or, if available, the values read from the clispb.dat file.

In the RCB that is generated, all of the option values in the SCB are copied to the RCB and none of the option values in the input DBCAREA are copied to the RCB. Connect uses option values from the RCB.

Run Startup or Initiate Request none of the option values in the input DBCAREA are copied to the SCB.

In the RCB that is generated, all of the option values in the SCB are copied to the RCB; none of the option values in the input DBCAREA are copied to the RCB. Initiate Request and Run Startup use option values from the RCB.

Rewind, Fetch, End Request, or Abort none of the option values in the input DBCAREA are copied to the SCB. None of the option values in the input DBCAREA are copied to the RCB. All option values are read from the RCB.
