Configuring NetBackup for Teradata DSE - BAR - Data Stream Architecture - Data Stream Extensions

You must initially configure NetBackup policies and schedule policies in the NetBackup Administration Console before using the BAR Setup portlet or the command-line interface. For example, you must use the NetBackup Administration Console to add:

• A policy before using the BAR Setup portlet to assign a policy to a storage device
• A schedule policy before using the tdbackex script to schedule a job
