Use these steps to download the latest versions of Teradata Database for VMware, the DSU packages, and the deployment scripts needed for upgrade.
  1. Go to https://access.teradata.com.
  2. Log in.
  3. Under Downloads select Update Your Software.
  4. Select Backup Archive Restore.
  5. Select Data Stream Utility, release information and platform, then click Submit.
  6. Download these packages:
    • BARCmdline
    • BARPortlets
    • ClientHandler
    • DSAPostDeployer
    • DSC
    • DSU_Deployer
    • TDVM-DSCrelease (older versions may be named TVME-DSC)
  7. Unzip the download package zip files.
  8. Unzip the DSU_Deployer_version.zip file. DSU_Deployer contains a sample properties file and the configuration and deployment scripts.
  9. Unzip the TDVM-DSCrelease_version.zip file. TDVM-DSCrelease contains an ova file with the templates.
