Normally, backup and restore utilizes the same target group. This means that the media servers and storage devices used during the backup are identical to ones used for data restore. However, it is inevitable that media servers in the target group can be offline when a restore event occurs. In the end the media servers used for the restore need to have access to all the files generated at backup time.
