The lab group owner has the option to set the following request limits on automatic approvals for requests to increase lab size and for lab extensions:

Maximum size
If a lab has exceeded its size threshold, automatic approvals no longer apply and the lab group owner must approve requests to increase the lab size by the setting specified (1 to 9999 MB, GB, or TB).

In addition, lab group owners can choose to have all requests exceeding the size threshold automatically rejected so that no approval requests are generated. The request is logged in the Requests tab.

Limit the maximum cumulative life
If a lab has exceeded its life threshold by repeated extensions, automatic approvals no longer apply and the lab group owner must approve requests to extend or reinstate a lab by the number of days specified (1 to 9999).

In addition, lab group owners can choose to have all requests exceeding the life threshold automatically rejected so that no approval requests are generated. The request is logged in the Requests tab.
