Connecting to a System - Teradata Data Lab

1. In the Connect to System dialog box, select a system from the list. If a Unity Environment was added in Viewpoint's Monitored Systems portlet, it can be selected from the System list. Teradata systems managed by the Unity Environment are not listed separately.
2. Type your Teradata Database user ID and password.
3. [Optional] Do any of the following:
   • Enter an Account String
   • Select an Authentication Mechanism from the list
   • Select a Character Set from the list
4. Click Connect.
