16.10 - Save Considerations - Teradata Database

A Teradata crashdump table cannot be automatically saved if:

• The ctl Save Dumps setting is off.
• An AMP is down and FALLBACK is not defined for Crashdumps database
• The Teradata Database system is not up
• There is not enough space

You can, however, manually save crashdumps using the CSP utility. For more information, see Manually Saving Teradata Crashdumps.
