The DBA must change the DBC user password on the source and destination systems to a temporary password during migration, and reset the password to the desired value after the migration has completed and the database is running on the new system.
- Migration scripts will fail if more than one user is logged on as user DBC.
- The DBC password is at risk of exposure during execution of the post_dbc_restore script.
The migration process copies the DBC password of the source system to the destination system.
