Purpose

Changes the configuration of the messages option of the security logon function that provides an interface to the System Authorization Facility (SAF) on z/OS client systems.

Syntax



where:

NOMSGS
suppresses messages to the system console in response to logon validation failure or denied access.
MSGS
enables messages to the system console in response to logon validation failure or denied access.

Usage Notes

TDP responds to the MODIFY SECLOGON command with a TDP2108 message indicating the new status of the security logon function and its messages option.
