Purpose

Changes the use of checksum validation for data transfer to and from the Teradata Database through CCU-type CPs.

Syntax



The SE abbreviation is deprecated.

where:

ON
Checksums from the Teradata Database are honored, and checksums are always sent to the Teradata Database.
OFF
Checksums from the Teradata Database are ignored, and no checksums are sent to the Teradata Database.
AUTO
When a checksum is received from the Teradata Database, checksums are sent to the Teradata Database.

Usage Notes

The operands of this deprecated command change the same values as the corresponding operands of the CONFIG CP command.

Use the DISPLAY CONFIG CP DETAIL command to display the current checksum setting.
