Purpose
Causes TDP to stop accepting logon requests from applications.
Syntax
Usage Notes
When TDP starts, logons are not enabled. Logons are enabled during TDP initialization (see Initializing a TDP) using the ENABLE LOGONS operator command.
If the DISABLE LOGONS command is executed after logons are enabled, a logon request from an application program is returned to the application with an error message indicating that logons are currently not allowed. Sessions that are logged on when the DISABLE LOGONS command is executed are allowed to continue to completion.
Example: DISABLE LOGONS
DISA LOGONS
Completion Message
TDP0856 LOGONS DISABLED
