Causes TDP to produce a message when a session starts or ends.
Syntax
Usage Notes
When TDP starts, Session Status is disabled.
The current setting can be displayed using the DISPLAY TDP command.
If Session Status is enabled, the following type of message is produced when a session starts:
TDP0899 SESSION nnnn STARTED, JOB jobname
and the following type of message is produced when a session ends:
TDP0898 SESSION nnnn ENDED, JOB jobname
These messages had previously been controlled by the ENABLE TEST command. For compatibility, they continue under TEST control until an ENABLE SESSION STATUS or DISABLE SESSION STATUS is issued, after which TEST has no effect on these messages.
Example: ENABLE SESSION STATUS
ENABLE SESSION STATUS
Completion Message
