Purpose
Changes the configuration of the messages option of the security logon function that provides an interface to the System Authorization Facility (SAF) on z/OS client systems.
Syntax
where:
- NOMSGS
- suppresses messages to the system console in response to logon validation failure or denied access.
- MSGS
- enables messages to the system console in response to logon validation failure or denied access.
Usage Notes
TDP responds to the MODIFY SECLOGON command with a TDP2108 message indicating the new status of the security logon function and its messages option.
