During installation of the EM-server package on the Ecosystem Manager Server, HTTPS is enabled by default for emrest service. To change the default protocol configuration, do the following:

On the Ecosystem Manager server, as a syncuser, run the following command:
/opt/teradata/emserver/bin/emrestconfig.sh
- Enter the password for the emrestsuper user.

Select one of the following options:
Protocol Status Option Issue requests to emrest service over only HTTP 4 Issue requests to emrest service over both HTTPS and HTTP 5 Issue requests to HTTPS 6 The browser may redirect HTTP requests to HTTPS with this option. - Check the status of the emrest service, and start it if the service is not running.
