  1. Verity the system has Java 1.8.
  2. Verify the $EM_HOME/lib and $TMSM_HOME/lib are part of LIBPATH.
  3. Verify the TMSM 14.00 z/OS client version is z/OS OS/390 13.00 01 - Version 1, Release 13 mod 00.
  4. Go to the root installation folder:/usr/local/opt/teradata/client and remove the previous version:
    Option Description
    Teradata MSM Client Package Remove the tmsm folder.
    Teradata Ecosystem Manager Client Package Remove the em folder.
  5. Install the Ecosystem Manager Client Package on z/OS USS .
