In addition to hardware metrics, for Unity servers, Ecosystem Manager self-registers and monitors the key daemon's’ heartbeat (PING), CPU usage, and Memory usage. The following is a list of Unity daemon metrics.
Daemon | Metric Name | Metric Description | Example |
---|---|---|---|
End point | MEM_USG[DAEMONNAME] | Percent of memory in used by the daemon | MEM_USG[REGION1_EPT] |
End point | CPU_USG[DAEMONNAME] | Percent of total CPU time used by the daemon | CPU_USG[REGION1_EPT] |
End point | PING[DAEMONNAME] | Heartbeat (Response time, in seconds, since the daemon last communicated with the Ecosystem Manager server) | PING[REGION1_EPT] |
Sequencer | MEM_USG[DAEMONNAME] | Percent of total CPU time used by the daemon | MEM_USG[REGION1_SEQ] |
Sequencer | CPU_USG[DAEMONNAME] | Percent of total CPU time used by the daemon | CPU_USG[REGION1_SEQ] |
Sequencer | PING[DAEMONNAME] | Heartbeat (Response time, in seconds, since the daemon last communicated with the Ecosystem Manager server) | PING[REGION1_SEQ] |
Dispatcher | MEM_USG[DAEMONNAME] | Percent of memory in used by the daemon | MEM_USG[REGION1_DSP_SDT02029] |
Dispatcher | CPU_USG[DAEMONNAME] | Percent of total CPU time used by the daemon | CPU_USG[REGION1_DSP_SDT02029] |
Dispatcher | PING[DAEMONNAME] | Heartbeat (Response time, in seconds, since the daemon last communicated with the Ecosystem Manager server) | PING[REGION1_DSP_SDT02029] |
For Unity daemon metrics, there are no default threshold rules, but you can add one if needed.
