The following steps are prerequisites for using DSA during system seeding. DSA 16.20 or later is required.

On the source Teradata Database system, make sure the ClientHandler package is installed and configured.
The ClientHandler version must be the same version as the DSA server used for system seeding.
- Synchronize the date and time between DSA and the source and target Teradata Database servers.

In both the source and target Teradata Database systems, restart the BarDSMain.

Log on to the Teradata node and use the cnsterm command to stop the BarDSMain.
