TARA Server Configuration Dialog Box: Client Groups Tab
Option Description
Client Group This alphabetical list specifies the name of a client group, a logical group of ARC main clients.
New Click New to allow entry of information for new client group.
Remove Click Remove to remove client group from the configuration. A dialog box asks for confirmation.
Display Name The display name is the client group name that you want to appear for this client group within the Teradata TARA GUI environment. It is not necessary for the display name to match the system name.

To change the display name, click New. The Display Name box now displays New Group. Type the new display name in the Display Name box.

Selected Clients This column lists the clients that have been added to a client group.

To remove a client from the group, highlight the client, then click Remove. The client name is then transferred to the Available Clients column.

Available Clients This column lists the clients available for addition to a client group.

To add a client, highlight it, then click Add. The client name appears in the Selected Clients column.

Add Click Add to add a client to the group.
Remove Click Remove to remove a client from the group.
Move Up Highlight the client in the Selected Clients column, then click Move Up to move a client up in the order in which it is used for backup. If there are more clients than streams, the client that appears first will be used for backup.
Move Down Highlight the client in the Selected Clients column, then click Move Down to move a client down in the order in which it is used for backup. If there are more clients than streams, the client that appears first will be used for backup.
