The following is an example of the Linux NBUBAR post-installation log. Errors appear on the screen and are logged to this file.

Task 1: Ask the installer for the TARA server host name
   The name is set to the default value of: sdlc5158.
   TARA Server name is sdlc5158
Task 2: Provide the installer the option to override the client name
   The Client name is set to sdlc5158
Task 3: Create the BAR User
   This user already exists.
   Ensure account isn’t expired and is locked
Password for `baruser' is already locked!
   HOME Directory for BAR user is set to '/home/baruser'.
   Press 'enter' to have the same HOME Directory.
   Or Provide a different folder with absolute path name -->
   User has provided new home directory for baruser.
   Modify the User's home Directory for baruser.
   Modified the BAR User Home Directory to '/home/baruser1'.
   Checking if the Home Directory exists or not
   Home directory /home/baruser1 already exists
   Ensure account isn't expired and is locked
Password for `baruser' is already locked!
Task 4: Set up the TARA client service
   Update the path value to the TARA client service in    tdtaraclient_original to create tdtaraclient.
   Create the tdtaraclient file in /opt/teradata/tara/nbubar/bin.
   The tdtaraclient file has been created.
   Set up the TARA Client as a service.
   Copying tdtaraclient to the Service directory.
   Add tdtaraclient to the Service list.

Task 5: Set up a symbolic link to the NetBackup Access Module file

Task 6: Set up the path to the NetBackup library file
   ldconfig was successful
Task 7: Modify the permissions on selected NetBackup utilities
   bpplclients changed.
   bppllist changed.
   bpconfig changed.
   bprdreq changed.
   bpimagelist changed.
   bpdbjobs changed.
   bpgetconfig changed.
   bpsetconfig changed.
   Permissions changes completed
Task 8: Update the path values for nbuq  in nbuquery.bat
   nbuquery.bat changed. Setting permissions to 755
   readnbujob.bat changed. Setting permissions to 755
   Update completed
Task 9: Copy the scripts to the baruser home directory.
   Copy taramigrator.bat
   Change taramigrator.bat owner
   Copy runarcnb.bat
   Change runarcnb.bat owner
   Copy nbuquery.bat
   Change nbuquery.bat owner
   Copy readnbujob.bat
   Change readnbujob.bat owner
   Copy tcsmon.bat
   Change tcsmon.bat owner
   Copy modifyconf.bat
   Change modifyconf.bat owner
   Copy config
   Change config owner
   Copy scripts completed
Task 10: Create the nbuver.out file
Task 11: Start the TARA client service
The NetBackup Access Module post-install script is finished.
