  1. Click Teradata Tiered Archive/Restore Architecture > Task > Archive.

    The Log on to Teradata DBS dialog box appears.

  2. To log on to a Teradata Database, select it from the TDPID list.
  3. Type a user account name for the Teradata Database in the UserID box.
  4. Type the password for the user account in the Password box, then click Connect.

    The ARCHIVE object selection dialog box appears.
