To determine which TARA restore images to regenerate, compare backup datasets between the TARA and TSM repositories.

Display the backup datasets in the TARA repository by doing one of the following:
- In the TARA GUI, click RESTORE object selection dialog box. to display the

Find information on all job files in the Job Information Repository by typing:
tarajobquery -u <user name> - p <password> -s <TARA server name> -L
For example, the last backup of the TARA server has images for three backups:
- 2 generations of "daily" datasets
- 1 generation of "weekly" datasets
In the example, the last backup of the following datasets will be recovered:
- Daily datasets stored in the TSM repository
- Any new backups performed after the TARA server backup

Use taratddsmc to display the backup datasets in the TSM Repository.
The taratddsmc utility lists:
- Three generations of "daily" datasets
- One generation of "weekly" datasets
- A new backup of"quarterly" datasets
Differences between the TARA and TSM Repository require that the following images must be recovered in the TARA repository:- Generation 3 of the "daily" dataset
- "Quarterly" dataset
