Upgrade scenario:

  • Connector upgrade: Yes
  • Fabric upgrade: No
  • A pending Fabric is still required to test and activate connector version.
  • To create a pending version of the ArrowFlightServerConnector, a pending Fabric version must already exist. If no pending Fabric exists, the system returns an error.
  1. Create a pending Fabric.
  2. Create a pending ArrowFlightServerConnector.
  3. Test the pending connector using the pending environment.
    Verify that queries and connector functionality operate as expected.
  4. Activate the pending connector (ArrowFlightServerConnector).
  5. Confirm that production queries are using the new connector version.
  6. Delete the pending Fabric because no software changes were made.
