You can use Arrow Flight SQL clients to retrieve data from Teradata as Apache Arrow record batches:
- Submit a query
Use CommandStatementQuery or CommandPreparedStatementQuery to run a SQL SELECT statement.
- Retrieve query endpoints
The Planner converts your query into a parallel export through the data analytics fabric.
You receive a list of FlightEndpoint objects — one per participating Data Worker node.
- Stream data in parallel
The client opens parallel connections to all endpoints and streams Arrow-format data concurrently.
- Benefit from high-performance data transfer
Parallel streaming across multiple nodes uses the data analytics fabric to maximize throughput and accelerate data retrieval.
