You can use Arrow Flight SQL clients to write data directly to Teradata in the following ways:
- Run a single DML statement
Use executeUpdate with a SQL statement such as (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) through CommandStatementUpdate.
Any Planner or Data Worker node can process the request.
- Perform batch inserts or updates
Use CommandPreparedStatementUpdate (PreparedStatement) to run multiple insert or update operations as a batch.
To maintain consistency, the same driver node processes all batches within a prepared statement sequence.
