The Oracle connector supports role mapping with Teradata Database 16.20 Feature Update 1 and later.
The following role support features are not supported with the Teradata Oracle connector:
  • Authenticating roles with passwords
  • Comma-separated role lists in SET ROLE
  • Except clause
  1. To enable Role Support, set the connector property to TRUE.
