  1. Under Fabric Configuration, select Fabrics.
  2. Select "" next to Fabrics.
  3. Enter a name, up to 256 characters.
  4. Enter a description, up to 1,000 characters.
  5. Enter the port number in the Port box.
    Must not be a port already in use by other software. Valid values range from 1024 to 65535, ports 5000–5001 are recommended.
  6. Do one of the following:
    Option Description
    Select an existing version
    1. From the Fabric software list, select a version.
    2. Select Save.
    Upload a version
    1. Next to the Fabric software list, select "".
    2. Browse to the file and select Upload.
    3. From the Fabric software list, select the uploaded version.
    4. Select Save.
  7. Select the authentication key size to use for securing communication between data source nodes.
    Valid values are 1536, 2048, 3072, and 4096.
