  • Database administrators
  • Hadoop administrators
  • Users
  • Teradata Customer Support
This content is divided into two parts. Depending on your role and system needs, use this content for either of the following parts:
  • The first part discusses basic Teradata Fabric installation and configuration.
  • The second part covers specific data engine installation and configuration (such as connectors and links) as well as how to start running queries using Teradata Fabric.

With the help of Teradata, use the installation content to prepare, install, and configure a data analytics fabric.

Use the User Guide content to configure connectors and links, such as a Teradata-to-Hive link.

Start by reading the Teradata Fabric section to get familiar with the terms and components of a data analytics fabric.

Contact Teradata for assistance with installing Teradata Fabric.

Teradata Fabric connectors are supported by Linux operating systems. See Teradata® Fabric / QueryGrid Components and Connectors Compatibility Matrix for more information.
