Upgrade Teradata Fabric node software when a new version becomes available.
- Download the latest software package and then upload the package to Teradata Fabric Manager.
- In the Teradata Fabric portlet, select Systems.
- Select the system to upgrade the node software, from the Node software list, select the new version of the node software.As of Teradata Fabric 3.10, the tdqg user is created with /sbin/nologin. The existing node upgrade process does not automatically modify the tdqg user from the previous path. You must manually upgrade by using rpm-Uvh in order to change the tdqg user to /sbin/nologin.
- Repeat the previous step for each system the earlier version of the node software is deployed.
