The Optimize service builds upon the Performance offering to engage additional resources, tools, and processes that improve the operation of the analytical ecosystem.
Optimize includes all Performance features, plus the following additional features:

| Database Performance Tools Operations | Teradata optimizes and manages NewSQL Engine performance, analyzes and solves performance issues to save CPU, I/O, and space, and provides a more stable platform with better response times. If Teradata Active System Management (TASM) is installed and configured, then Teradata regularly maintains the performance tool settings (Viewpoint alerts, Priority Scheduler Facility, and so on) of the data warehouse environment. |
