Action Considerations and Dependencies Edit Source - Once you save a source, you cannot change the source type.
- When you edit an MQTT or Kafka source, the source goes into error state for 10 to 60 seconds. Check status again in 60 seconds.
- If an associated target contains dead-letter records, only an administrator can view the source details in the UI. Use the Source Information API to retrieve the source details.
Delete Source - You cannot delete a locked source. Locking a target locks the associated source and system.
- When you delete a source, users of the source cannot receive data with its secret key.
