- Installing and Configuring the ODBC Driver
Install Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) Driver for Teradata and edit the appropriate odbc.ini file.
- Install the latest versions of the MDS dependencies.
- Use one of the following methods to install the MDS Core package (mdsbase):
Method Location of the installed MDS Core files PUT utility a nonstandard location mdsbaseinstall /opt/teradata/mds mdsbasenonstdinstall a nonstandard location - Run the mdsconfig utility to configure the ODBC Data Source Name, Database User Name, and Password for the MDS repository.
