Teradata PT performs the following three key tasks:
- Executes multiple instances of an operator.
- Simultaneously reads, transforms, and loads data—as data is placed in the data buffer, the next operator can perform its task without waiting for the prior process to complete.
- Eliminates the need for intermediate storage—data is streamed through the process without being written to disk.
