Adapters
The Dell R730 chassis has seven adapter slots, three low-profile slots (1-3) and four full-height slots (4-7). TMS Ecosystem Manager Model 8-31 adapters must be installed in the following order:
  1. One optional Mellanox ConnectX-3 BYNET V5/InfiniBand adapter installed in slot 5.
  2. One mandatory X520-DA2 Ethernet adapter and up to five optional Ethernet adapters installed in adapter order I350-T4, X540-T2, X520-DA2, X520-SR2 and slot order 6, 7, 1, 4, 3, 2.
