The maximum configuration of a Platform Framework cabinet is estimated to contain eight Dell R720xd servers, two Mellanox InfiniBand switches, and nine Blade G8124 Ethernet switches. This cabinet configuration is estimated to consume 7700 Watts, 8150VA when running with redundant power feeds.
The actual power consumption levels for a particular configuration may be different depending on many factors such as the hardware configuration of each chassis, the applications running at the time of measurement, and the operating temperature. As a result, Teradata lists only the estimated power consumption level, associated heat dissipation, and cooling requirement information as reference.
