Use the Execute Now command to immediately run for a job with a Waiting status in the Scheduled Requests list. Also use the same command to re-execute jobs that have failed for any reason.

Jobs submitted for immediate execution are still subject to database management rules.

  1. From the Scheduled Requests list of the Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator, select a job with a Waiting status or any job that failed to execute.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click Options > Execute Now.

    • Right-click the job to display a shortcut menu, and click Execute Now.

A Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator dialog box appears asking for confirmation.

  3. Click Yes to confirm the execution, close the dialog box, return to the Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator, and execute the query.
