Before working with scheduled requests, jobs, and results, the DBA can set the rate at which the Scheduled Requests list is updated from the Teradata QS server. Although refresh is a background process, it still adds to network traffic. Set the rate as low as possible.

Immediately Refreshing the Scehduled Requests List

  • Click View > Refresh > Now.

    The Scheduled Requestslist is updated with information from the Teradata QS server.

Setting the Refresh Rate

  1. Click View > Refresh > Interval.

    The Refresh Intervaldialog box appears.



    For information about the Refresh Intervaldialog box, see About the Dialog Boxes.

  2. Select the Set Refresh Intervalcheck box.
  3. Type an interval between 5 and 99 in the Refresh every __box.
  4. Click the Minute or the Houroption to set the refresh rate.
  5. Click OK to close the Refresh Intervaldialog box, and return to the Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator .
