The hostname is the server where query-service is installed.
If you are upgrading from TDREST and have configured an SSL certificate in TDREST before the upgrade, then the Query Service uses that SSL certificate. Otherwise, Query Service generates a self-signed SSL certificate and the browser alerts that the site is not secure. You can click Advanced and then proceed to the page. If using Firefox as a browser, you can add a permanent exception to avoid warning messages.
