The Oracle connector supports role mapping with Teradata Database 16.20 Feature Update 1 and later.
The following role support features are not supported with the Teradata Oracle connector:
- Authenticating roles with passwords
- Comma-separated role lists in SET ROLE
- Except clause
- To enable Role Support, set the connector property to TRUE.
