Communication Policies control how data flows between QueryGrid-connected systems. It includes options such as how many parallel TCP sockets are opened between each node pair and whether compression is enabled or not. Communication Policies are referenced by links. There is one Communication Policy per hop.
  1. Under Fabric Components, select Communication Policies.
  2. Select "" next to Communication Policies.
  3. Enter a name, up to 256 characters.
  4. Enter a description, up to 1,000 characters.
  5. Enter an integer from 1 and 5 to set the number of data transfer streams to run simultaneously.
    The default value is 1.
  6. [Optional] Select Enable compression for data transfer to allow ZStandard data compression on row blocks during data transfer.
  7. Select Save.
