  1. Install the same version of QueryGrid Manager on the new server as the original server.
  2. Run the join-cluster command on the new server to cluster it to the original server.
  3. Run both servers concurrently for 5 minutes to make sure all data source nodes recognize the new QueryGrid Manager instance.
  4. Shut down the original QueryGrid Manager instance.
  5. Make sure QueryGrid is functioning normally by running QueryGrid queries and confirming no issues are reported in the Issues view of the QueryGrid portlet.
  6. Remove the original QueryGrid Manager from the cluster.
  7. Uninstall QueryGrid Manager software on the original server.
    For example, use the rpm -e tdqg-manager command.
