  1. From the Teradata Viewpoint portal page, click .
  2. Open the Certificates portlet.
  3. From the Setup list, click Certificate Authority.
  4. Click Install Certificate.
  5. Type an alias for the certificate, up to 30 characters.
  6. Select the A trusted SSL-enabled service option and do the following:
    1. Type the hostname of a Teradata QueryGrid Manager instance. If clustered, pick any hostname.
    2. Type 9443 as the port number.
  7. Click Install.
The alias, expiration date, and authority of the new certificate appears under Trusted Certificate Authorities in the Certificate Authority view.
