The Web Client settings allow you to do the following:
- Configure the SiteID
- Configure IP addresses for Teradata Viewpoint servers
- Set up a Teradata ServiceConnect connection to the gateway
- Set up a secure connection by enabling encryption
- Set and control permissions to the policy server
- Configure a proxy server
- Add remote access devices
- Set up remote authentication
- Enable product usage when ServiceConnect is configured, so that data by applications is sent to Teradata
