SMWeb allows you to create an optional informational security banner that displays when you log on.
For VMS servers, this applies to VMS 2.x only.
Banners are controlled by the presence of a specific .txt file. If loginbanner.txt is in the specified directory, the contents of the file display in the banner. To remove a banner, delete or rename the .txt file.
