Open a maintenance window to perform system maintenance or any other task that generates alerts. Maintenance windows do the following:
- Provide a history of changes on a system
- Temporarily suppress incident creation for systems that are connected using Teradata ServiceConnect and have Auto Incident Create enabled.
Schedule maintenance ahead of time, or start it right away. A maintenance window automatically closes when the time expires.
