You can pin active alerts for reference. They are visible only to you, the logged-in user. You can also unpin, remove all pins, or sort active alerts. You cannot pin summary alerts or events. Only active alerts can be pinned.
- Select the Alerts tab from the SMClient Main window.

Do any of the following:
Option Description Pin - Click the active alert you want to pin.
Use Ctrl or Shift to select multiple active alerts.
- Do one of the following:
- Select .
- Right-click anywhere in the window, and select Pin Alerts.
Active alerts remain pinned until you unpin them.
Unpin - Click the active alert you want to unpin.
Use Ctrl or Shift to select multiple active alerts.
- Do one of the following:
- Select .
- Right-click anywhere in the window, and select Unpin Alerts.
Remove All Pins - Do one of the following:
- Select .
- Right-click anywhere in the window, and select Remove All Pins.
- Click the active alert you want to pin.
- [Optional] To see all pinned alerts, click the last column heading once.
