When failover occurs:
  • If running SMClient and you have entered a command, SMWeb Services displays a warning message asking you to go to another CMIC. Do one of the following:
    • From the SMClient, click the https secure link to continue.
    • For the CLI, continue to the suggested CMIC address.
  • If the External Connections, and Users and Groups pages are not available, the CMIC configured to perform these these connections is down.
  • Maintenance windows can still be created, updated, and deleted.
  • TVI files (Alerts, Reports, Assets, and Heartbeat) continue to be sent to the TVI backend through the SWS.
