Hardware Requirements

To run SMClient and CLI, the following minimum hardware requirements must be met:
  • 1.4 MHz CPU or greater
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 200 MB hard drive space (for software prerequisites and caching application files)

Web Browser Requirements

SMWeb is certified with the web browsers listed below.
Web Browser Requirements
Windows Internet Explorer (IE)
  • Version 10.0 or greater
  • CMIC added to IE trusted sites
  • JavaScript enabled
  • Active Scripting enabled
The CMIC must be added to the Windows Internet Explorer (IE) list of Trusted sites on the Security tab in the Tools > Internet options.
Mozilla Firefox
  • Desktop browsers
  • Version 41 or greater
  • JavaScript enabled

Software Requirements

To run SMClient and the CLI utilities, Java Runtime Environment (64-bit J2SE JRE) 8.0 or greater is required.

If SMWeb Help displays incorrectly in IE, display it in Compatibility View. In IE, select Tools > Compatibility View Settings, then select Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.
