  1. In the Event Viewer, click one event or press Ctrl and click to select additional events.
  2. In the Event Viewer, do one of the following:
    • Select Functions > Locate Components.
    • Right-click the event, or events, and select Locate Components.
The components associated with events are highlighted in the Tree View.
